This is one of my favorite homemade ornaments because they opened the really cute and pretty cheap. They are fast, easy and fun to make. My three year old had even happy to assist me.
Materials:
Wooden die cut (found in Michael's craft store)
Decorative paper
Ribbon
Scissors
Lapis
Mod Podge
Paint Brush (1 / 2 ")
Wood hand drill (found in Michael's craft store)
Glitter (optional)
Other embellishments (optional)
Instructions:
Take your timber and die-cut marks on your paper.
Cut the shape of two times (one for each side of the die cut). If your are not die cut weight and cut marks on both sides.
Your brush to apply Mod Podge to one side of the die cut.
Apply the paper to cut die.
Apply Mod Podge on top of paper. (If you are going to apply light in your decoration - it is the time to do it.)
Let the Mod Podge dry.
Repeat steps 3-6 for opposite side.
After the decoration is dry, drill a hole where you want to hang from the jewel.
Cut your ribbon with a length to choose and tie.
If you choose to apply to any other embellishments - now is the time to do that.
Now go hang it on your tree or tie to your gifts. Enjoy!

Vintage Wooden Christmas Ornament Set
Description - wooden Christmas ornament
A wonderful collection of 7 small wooden vintage christmas ornaments!
A nostalgic mix of stylish wooden ornaments.
They are adorable. Handpainted.
You will get full set:
- A white house
- Two christmas tree
- A snowman holding a special package of gifts to his arm
- Red and white well. Has sticker made in taiwan below. Some paint wear.
- Girl dressed to play in the snow. Holding a small christmas tree in her hand. Some paint wear around the top / back of his head.
- A very pretty, with perfect conditions women christmas (miss Santa?). Has sticker made in china below.
These are all slightly different sizes, but around 1.5 "/ 2".
All loops are attached for easy display on trees!
All in good condition

Simple Wooden Christmas Crafts
Wooden Christmas crafts some of the earliest Christmas ornaments and toys. Now, some handmade toys and ornaments are made, unless, of course, can afford to pay top dollar or make them yourself. To create a dozen ornaments to be worthy of your tree, you can use the home as clothespins, pencils, ice cream sticks and paint stirrers.
How to Make a Clothespin ornament
Really cute reindeer ornaments are created by only three clothespins and a little bit of glue. Point two clothespins down for legs, and clothespin the last point up to the head. To decorate the reindeer, add googly eyes, a red nose for PomPom and white PomPom for tail.
How to Make an Ice Cream Stick jewel
You can use ice cream sticks as a base to create stick figures such as snowmen, nutcrackers or angels. To create a snowman, ice cream stick paint white and use magic markers to add the face and the buttons. Use felt to create a black hat and a snuggly scarf.
To create a nutcracker, use the felt pieces to create a uniform, embellished with pieces of gold ribbon. To create an angel, white paint stick, glue a gold pipe cleaner halo and-white feathers, and gather a bit of tie around the stick skirt.
How to Make Paint Stirrer jewel
For vessels that might want to take a trip to the hobby shop for some of the additional supply craft that can not be lying around the house.
Materials:
* Wooden ice cream sticks or wooden paint stirrers
* White paint
* Magic markers
* Felt
* Paper punch
* Yarn
The white paint sticks. Decorate the face with magic markers. Place the stick on the felt and then remove a simple design clothing with long sleeves. Make sure the clothes are big enough to accommodate a story to one of the sides of the stick. Cut two identical pieces clothes.
Punch holes around the sleeves and down the sides, leaving the bottom open, as well as opening for the head. Sew clothing pieces together by weaving the story in and out of the hole, then insert the stick through the bottom of the dress, pushing the head out of the top hole.
Dab a little glue to the front and back of the stick, under clothes, to keep clothes from falling off. Use felt to create more of a hat and gloves, which can then be attached to, or gloves to create a string and loop the string through the arms before you glue the dress to stick. Glue buttons down the front of the dress and add a few pieces of yarn to the head for hair before you glue on a felt hat.

To create a simple solid-wood decoration, like a toy block, start with a square block of wood. If you plan to knife the block, aspiration is a good choice. Carve letters on each side of the block, or paint the wood white and then draw and paint block letters to each side. Paint each letter a different color and outline on each panel or side with the same color as the letters. When done, insert a small hook in one corner of the block and tie a piece of ribbon to hang on your tree
